Australian Plumber Still Find Humor in Poo

Came across this blog post from The Lone Drainer and Pronto blog based in Sydney, Australia. According to the plumbing company's site:
The Lone Drainer and Pronto are not like other cowboy plumbers.... with Silver Bullet speed and without making a mess, we fix your blocked drains, leaking taps and toilets, and before we start, you get our legendary no surprise fixed quote that blends 40 years experience, technology and training so good... even other plumbers seek our advice!

After 40 years of dealing with poo & pee, it's nice to see they still have a sense of humor!

Toilet Paper: America's Gift to the World

Check out this article from mental_floss magazine's website about the history of toilet paper. Can the demise of the Sears catalog be connected to the rise of toilet paper use? Probably not, but the article is a fun, informative read anyway.

PopBytes Poo Log Confession

PopBytes recently posted about our Poo Log iPhone app, but something more interesting was the admission of not being able to poo in public. Now, we don't mean squatting down at the bus stop or dropping drawers in a  business meeting. The aversion to pooing in public toilets is not unusual.  Many people feel more comfortable and relaxed pooing in their own homes where they can take their time. We're all for relaxing poo time, but don't hold your poo for too long as it's best to "go with the flow" and poo when your body has to go.

Would you blog from a bathroom for $10,000?

Proctor & Gamble are looking for those eager to blog from bathrooms in Times Square over a period of five weeks in exchange for $10,000 according to this story on the Business Courier website. Want to apply? go to www.EnjoyTheGo.com for  job description and info on how to apply.

Pop Culture Shock

PopCultureShock.com blogger Shola Akinnuso has Poo Log envy after seeing our videos for the iPhone/Android app:
Now, comedic value notwithstanding, I can honestly say that there’s probably health merit in this. I’m no dietary consultant, but it seems to me that the ability to measure how often you do the number 2 might offer some measure of tracking your overall health. Again, if I had an iPhone, i’d probably give this a shot. Either way, the promotional videos are really quite humorous. I can’t make this crap up.
